The project focuses on countering the effects of gentrification in Old Compton Street, particularly in Soho, by highlighting its rich cultural history. Through the use of peepholes, the design aims to unveil forgotten memories, anecdotes, and personalities that shape the street's unique identity.

The LGBTQ+ flag-inspired colour scheme is employed to reference the area's diverse community. The intention is to educate passersby about the authentic roots of Old Compton Street, encouraging a deeper understanding beyond its current homogeneous appearance.

The production involved various techniques, such as embossing, vinyl, laser-cutting, and screen printing, with the map undergoing multiple iterations for optimal presentation. The design seeks refinement in certain areas and welcomes input on production techniques, materials, and processes for a more informed outcome.
